Manufacturing, Maintenance and repair of specialty railcars and related equipment is our core area of expertise.  Our primary focus is the manufacturing and repair of Air Dump Cars, Heavy Duty Flat Cars, Automated Ballast Cars and MOW Equipment.  

Our highly skilled employees perform custom welding and fabrication work intended for any type of specialty equipment. We also provide mobile services so we can bring our experience directly to you.

We are prepared to meet any "special project" our customers have or may have envisioned.  

Our vast experience in welding, pneumatics, hydraulics and fabrication can bring to life new equipment or old equipment back to life.   

GENERAL REPAIRS:
JK-CO will repair your cars to meet or exceed AAR & manufactures specifications.  We are capable of performing general repairs or extensive heavy repairs from shoe change out to complete rebuild.

• HEAVY DUTY FLAT CAR REPAIR:

JK-CO offers rebuilding and re-cambering of your heavy duty flat cars
and a preventative maintenance program custom designed for your
needs.

• WRECK REPAIRS:

JK-CO will come to your site for inspection and estimate your repair
requirements.

• RAPID DISCHARGE CYLINDER RECONDITIONING:

JK-CO offers a rapid turn-a-round service on Rapid Discharge Cylinders
and repair kits.

• MOBILE REPAIR IN UNITED STATES:

JK-CO's mobile repair resources have the capability to come to “YOU” for
inspection and repairs.

• ON-SITE INSPECTIONS:

JK-CO will also come to your shop or rail-site to inspect or evaluate your
specific needs.  Whatever youre needs are, we will provide a written
estimate of repairs or evaluate the condition status of your
train.

• R & R AIR BRAKES:

JK-CO will test your air brakes using the single car test device and repair
your air brakes as required.

• STENCILING:

JK-CO is proficient in stenciling car numbers and reporting marks,
program replacement & new AEI tags for new railcar ownership.

• AAR BILLING

JK-CO uses the AAR Billing Repair Card system for a detailed record of repairs performed in accordance with Rule 83.

• DUMP CYLINDER & VALVE RECONDITIONING & EXCHANGE PROGRAM:

JK-CO offers a rapid turn-a-round service and an exchange program on
"Difco-style" dump cylinders and valves. We also rebuild and supply parts for any maker of air side dump car.

• MODIFICATIONS
